David Nicholas has been in the education business for over 33 years and recently retired as Superintendent for Colome Consolidated Schools at Colome, SD. Dave was the Superintendent for 12 years with Washakie School District #1 in Worland, Wyoming. Nine years before that, he supervised the student transportation services for the Gregory South Dakota School District serving as the Superintendent of Schools in Gregory, SD. He also was a MS Principal/Supt. in Winner, SD for 8 years, but started out coaching and teaching science at Philip, SD from 1990-1993. David has a Class A CDL & Bus Driver Endorsement. He has been a substitute bus driver in all the districts he has served. For enjoyment, Dave is a team roper, and also trains horses. David and Kathy have 4 grown boys, 2 incredible daughter-in-laws, and 4 grandchildren!

Kathy was a teacher for 17 years, married to David for 36 years. She will be the one you will most likely visit with for the driver training.
